As the Facade Project Manager, you will be joining the project at the pre-construction stage, collaborating with the project team to plan, programme, and sequence the works. You will oversee the successful delivery of the external facade package, which includes panels, stick glazing, and a steel frame. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of the facade works, from the initial planning phases through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, programming, and sequencing of facade works on the project.
- Manage and coordinate the facade package, including panels, stick glazing, and steel frame.
- Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure successful delivery of the facade elements.
- Monitor project progress and manage any issues that arise during the construction phase.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the project.
- Liaise with stakeholders and subcontractors to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Proven experience as a Facade Project Manager on commercial projects.
- Solid knowledge of facade systems, including panels, stick glazing, and steel frame construction.
- Previous experience managing facade packages either for a Main Contractor or specialist facade subcontractor.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or related fields are desirable.
