Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners?  Reed Education are supporting a wonderful Primary SEN School based in Smallfield, and we are on the looking for a brilliant Teaching Assistant! You'll play a pivotal role in supporting students aged 7-11 with communication and social interaction difficulties, typically associated with Autism. This is your chance to contribute to a nurturing and dynamic educational environment.

What You'll Do:
  • ?? Build Connections: Establish a warm, caring, and supportive rapport with pupils to help them feel safe and enjoy their learning experience.
  • �? Foster Growth: Promote and encourage personal development and independence among students.
  • ?? Classroom Support: Assist the Class Teacher with daily classroom operations.
  • ?? Adaptability: Respond to the varying and changing needs of the school, including some physical intervention as needed (full training provided).
  • �? Holistic Development: Promote pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development, and spiritual well-being.
What You Bring:
  • ?? Essential: GCSE Maths and English qualification minimum Grade 4 or equivalent.
  • �? Desirable: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
  • ?? Experience: Previous experience working in a special school environment is highly desirable.
  • �? Training: Team TEACH Training is a plus.
