Teaching Assistant - SEN 1:1 - Primary
- Primary School based in Horley
- Long term contract - 1 year +
- 20 hours per week - 4 per day
- Up to £120 per day, depending on experience
NextGen are currently partnering with a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Horley area.
This school takes pride on putting children first and creating a supportive and safe environment for all children.
We are seeking someone who wants to add to that brilliant environment. You will be a key member of the school supporting the classroom teachers to deliver excellent lessons as well as providing 1:1 support
Day to day you will be:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment
- Build positive relationships with the child
- Supporting to explain and complete tasks
- Communicating with parents
- Promoting the general wellbeing of the children
- Observe and assess the pupils progress and be able to report back to the classroom teacher and parents
We are looking for someone with:
- Prior experience working with Primary age children in a education setting
- Experience in 1:1 SEN support
- Excellent communication skills
- A brilliant team player
- A genuine passion for working with children
- A positive, can-do attitude
