Teaching Assistant - SEN 1:1 - Primary

  • Primary School based in Horley
  • Long term contract - 1 year +
  • 20 hours per week - 4 per day
  • Up to £120 per day, depending on experience

NextGen are currently partnering with a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Horley area.

This school takes pride on putting children first and creating a supportive and safe environment for all children.

We are seeking someone who wants to add to that brilliant environment. You will be a key member of the school supporting the classroom teachers to deliver excellent lessons as well as providing 1:1 support

Day to day you will be:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment
  • Build positive relationships with the child
  • Supporting to explain and complete tasks
  • Communicating with parents
  • Promoting the general wellbeing of the children
  • Observe and assess the pupils progress and be able to report back to the classroom teacher and parents

We are looking for someone with:

  • Prior experience working with Primary age children in a education setting
  • Experience in 1:1 SEN support
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A brilliant team player
  • A genuine passion for working with children
  • A positive, can-do attitude
