Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Teacher in the leadership and management of the school.
- Lead the development and implementation of the primary curriculum.
- Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement among staff and pupils.
- Manage pupil behavior and discipline, maintaining a focus on pupil welfare.
- Engage with parents and the community to enhance the educational experience.
- Oversee the effective use of resources to support educational goals.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and policy-making process.
- Act as a role model, demonstrating exemplary teaching practices when necessary.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with extensive experience in SEN education.
- SEN qualifications.
- A proven leader with experience in school management.
- A deep understanding of the primary education curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to professional development and innovation in education.
