As the first Marketing Manager, you will have a clean slate to develop and implement a long-term marketing strategy. Your creativity and strategic thinking will elevate our market presence, enhance our brand, and drive our sales pipeline. The business is an SME providing consultancy services to the building and property sectors across the UK.

In this pivotal role, you will conduct a thorough review of the business to understand previous marketing efforts and identify areas to focus on in the short, medium, and long term. You will segment our customer base to better target marketing efforts and identify growth opportunities across geographies and target clients. Defining and developing a comprehensive marketing strategy will be key, as will building and implementing a marketing plan that includes both online and offline activities.

You will oversee the development and launch of a new company website, create and execute a social media strategy to build our online presence, and plan and manage participation in trade shows and other industry events. Additionally, you will conduct market and consumer research to identify new customer opportunities and develop engaging content for various marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, and digital advertising. Collaboration is crucial, and you will work with colleagues at all levels to deliver cohesive marketing campaigns.

Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a Marketeer with a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, along with proven experience in a B2B marketing role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Creative thinking and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems are essential for this role. Additionally, an understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms is highly desirable, as is experience in managing marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
