Are you a detail-oriented finance enthusiast looking to contribute your skills in a dynamic team environment? We have the perfect opportunity for you! Join our client as a Finance Assistant and support the Financial Controller and Finance Managers in delivering exceptional financial services.

As our Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Posting received invoices and ensuring proper approvals and purchase orders are in place.
  • Reviewing and preparing payment for invoices and statements in collaboration with team members.
  • Setting up new customer details and maintaining current contact information in our financial system.
  • Handling supplier enquiries via email and phone, ensuring efficient communication.
  • Sending statements and reminders for overdue invoices, keeping everything on track.
  • Reviewing credit card statements for accuracy and getting approvals from line managers.
  • Conducting monthly reviews of POs and assisting in managing our supplier database.
  • Preparing sales invoices and liaising with colleagues for prompt payments.
  • Assisting with payroll input, bank statement uploads, and monthly journals.
  • Updating our asset and contract management systems, ensuring we remain compliant and organised.
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with month-end checks, year-end preparations, and ad hoc projects.
