Are you a visionary Head of Business ready to lead and inspire the next generation of business minds? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head of Business to join our secondary schools in Hornchurch. This full-time role is available in Jan 2025 and offers an exciting opportunity to take the lead in developing a forward-thinking and engaging business curriculum that prepares students for the modern world of work.

As Head of Business, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering an outstanding curriculum in Business Studies. Your expertise will guide students through key concepts in finance, economics, entrepreneurship, and management, helping them to develop a strong foundation and a passion for business. In this role, you will mentor and support your department, ensuring high standards of teaching and a stimulating learning environment that motivates students to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Business Studies department, setting high standards for teaching and student engagement.
• Develop and implement an inspiring curriculum that aligns with national standards and enhances students’ understanding of business principles.
• Support students in exam preparation and coursework, providing guidance to help them succeed.
• Collaborate with school leadership and fellow educators to integrate real-world business experiences into the curriculum.

We’re looking for a Head of Business with a proven track record in business education, strong leadership skills, and a passion for student development. Experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications in business or a related field are essential.
