Location: Horsham

Type: Temp to Perm

Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday

Our client a leader in their field is seeking an Accounts Administrator on a temporary to permanent basis. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of their financial operations, managing payments and building strong relationships with clients.

Accounts Administrator Duties:

  • Oversee day to day accounting operations, accurately managing financial records via Sage Software.
  • Assist in month end and year eld closing procedures.
  • Work closely with the finance team.
  • Assisting with customer invoicing, payment processing and supplier payments.
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables and disbursement of payables.
  • Prepare and present financial statements.
  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable aging reports, ensuring accounts are reconciled and accurate.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts.
  • Managing currency exchange transactions.
  • Monitoring budget performance.
  • Liaise with clients from overseas, managing financial transactions, compliance and strong working relationships.
  • Collaborating with software providers.
  • Working alongside IT and finance teams to streamline accounting processes.
  • Ensure compliance and financial regulations, both internationally and locally, for tax and audit purposes.
  • Preparing and assisting with internal and external audits.

Accounts Administrator Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Sage Accounting software.
  • Proven experience in a senior accounting role.
  • In depth knowledge of currency exchange, international payments, and management overseas financial transactions.
  • Clear understanding of financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Experience liaising with overseas clients.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage cross-department collaboration.
  • Analytical skills to manage complex financial data.
  • Ability and experience in accurate reporting.
  • Time management and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
