Role: Accounts Administrator
Location: Horsham
Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday
Our client a leader in their field is seeking an Accounts Administrator on a temporary to permanent basis. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of their financial operations, managing payments and building strong relationships with clients.
Accounts Administrator Duties:
- Oversee day to day accounting operations, accurately managing financial records via Sage Software.
- Assist in month end and year eld closing procedures.
- Work closely with the finance team.
- Assisting with customer invoicing, payment processing and supplier payments.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and disbursement of payables.
- Prepare and present financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable aging reports, ensuring accounts are reconciled and accurate.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts.
- Managing currency exchange transactions.
- Monitoring budget performance.
- Liaise with clients from overseas, managing financial transactions, compliance and strong working relationships.
- Collaborating with software providers.
- Working alongside IT and finance teams to streamline accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance and financial regulations, both internationally and locally, for tax and audit purposes.
- Preparing and assisting with internal and external audits.
Accounts Administrator Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Sage Accounting software.
- Proven experience in a senior accounting role.
- In depth knowledge of currency exchange, international payments, and management overseas financial transactions.
- Clear understanding of financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
- Experience liaising with overseas clients.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage cross-department collaboration.
- Analytical skills to manage complex financial data.
- Ability and experience in accurate reporting.
- Time management and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
