Grafton Banks Finance are working with a national organisation to recruit an Purchase Ledger Clerk on a full time permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager and working in a growing accounts team you will be responsible for supporting in the smooth running of the processing and inputting of the supplier invoices. Due to the nature of the business, you'll need to have experience of dealing with high volume invoices.   

Duties and Responsibilities will include: 

  • Processing various different types of invoices and journals 
  • Running monthly payments on the ERP System along with the allocation of them  
  • Preparing Ad-hoc payments 
  • Uploading Payments to bank line 
  • Daily post and email sorting 
  • Dealing with contacting a large volume of customers regarding various queries on a day to day basis 
  • Contacting suppliers by email and phone clarifying payments reconciling statements and managing queries 
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required by finance team.  

You will need to have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be IT literate including Micrsoft packages and Excel.
