A well-established Manufacturer is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and overseeing the UK sales and marketing operations. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring strong customer relationships.

Sales Manager responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage and support the sales team, including administrators and coordinators.
  • Identify new customers and expand market reach.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies.
  • Deliver sales presentations and product training to clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including technical and operations, to align business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis.
  • Represent the company at trade events and customer meetings.

Skills & experience required:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in sales management, including new business development.
  • Strong track record of client acquisition and retention.
  • Experience selling technical products.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and market trends effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.

Preferred:

  • Experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, hygiene, or chemicals.
