THE ROLE

The Business Development Executive, you will combine client management and client success with new business development and plan your own activity. With close support, you will be reaching out to the Community and understanding what their key needs are.

A broad role, responsibilities will include:

  • Pitching and selling of Exhibition Stands and Sponsorship, both from established clients and new leads
  • Possibility of selling other products and brands in future
  • Telesales activity, nurture prospects via email
  • Research contacts, update and populate in HubSpot CRM
  • Meet monthly sales targets as agreed with manager
  • Attending industry conferences and meetings to generate new business leads
  • Process team's sales administration, use of Hubspot, Microsoft, and Trello for client organization, record keeping, emailing, data gathering, and list management
  • Event file management, updates, and organisation
  • Support Customer Success Executive administration, Hubspot management, Trello and client management systems and processes

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates should come with experience of sales and account management, ideally from within an events setting. You will be confident on the phone and via video calls, with a skill in building solid relationships. Relationship building is key to this business, and their sales strategy very much represents this and their non pushy culture.
