Day to Day Tasks:

• Lead client negotiations and manage the contract generation process to meet targets.
• Act as the account manager for new business, ensuring smooth contract execution and transparent relationship management.
• Develop income generation strategies for recycling and waste collection services, ensuring optimal resource use and scheduling to incorporate new business.
• Build and successfully implement the new business stream.
• Enhance Commercial Waste brand awareness and manage digital or operational transformation projects.
• Collaborate with Waste & Recycling/Litter & Cleansing teams for efficient service delivery.
• Manage performance procedures for the office team, including recruitment, appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee budget management and work towards achieving income targets.
• Handle complaints and enquiries, fostering a positive customer image.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous management experience
• Awareness of Health and Safety legislation.
• Background in a Customer Service environment.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse customers and stakeholders.
• Experience in budget management and income generation.
• Competent IT user with the ability to learn and use various systems.
• Operational background, knowledge of the waste industry and a background in sales within a high-volume low margin service industry.
