Crane engineer required. Our client is a leading provider of installation, repairs and services on overhead crane, they are looking for an engineer to join their business in a field base role with the occasional need to do some work in their workshop based in Horsham. The role would involve covering the surrounding counties of Horsham with door to door pay. The candidate needs to have relevant work experience in a similar role and LEEA qualifications would be beneficial but not essential. For the right candidate there is also progression available in the role to management with also training courses available to further your career and knowledge. The client in the near future is also looking at manufacturing their own over head cranes so the company is heading in the right direction.

This role requires a manual driving licence.

Crane Engineer Position Overview

  • Installation, maintenance and servicing of overhead gantry cranes.
  • Travelling within the surrounding counties of Horsham.
  • Complying with company health and safety laws.
  • This role comes with a route to progression in the company whether that be qualifications or progression into management which is a great opportunity for the right candidate.
  • This role involves door to door pay and overtime is mainly in the week, weekend work is extremely rare.

Crane Engineer Position Requirements

  • The candidate must have previous work experience in a similar role
  • LEEA qualifications would be beneficial but work experience more essential for this role
  • Within a commutable distance of Horsham and surrounding areas
  • Able to work well as a team or alone
  • Manual driving licence required

Crane Engineer Position Remuneration

  • £35,000-£45,000 DOE. Potential OTE £60,000-£70,000
  • 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
  • Company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone and tablet provided
  • 8:00-16:30 working hours
  • Door to door pay
  • Generous overtime rates when required
  • Ongoing training provided
