We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with instructors to support classroom activities, assist with lesson preparation, and provide direct support to students to help them better understand course materials. Your responsibilities will include grading assignments, leading discussion groups, and offering one-on-one support to students who need extra assistance. Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
  • Assist the lead instructor in delivering lessons by providing additional explanations, answering questions, and facilitating discussions. Help create an engaging and interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
  • Assist in preparing instructional materials, such as handouts, presentations, and learning aids. Ensure all resources are ready and available for each class session.
  • Help manage the classroom environment by organizing materials, maintaining order, and supporting students in following classroom rules and procedures.
  • Assist in grading assignments, quizzes, and exams promptly and accurately. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and performance.
  • Lead or assist in organizing study groups or review sessions outside of class hours to reinforce learning and help students prepare for assessments.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with the subject matter or course content is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to explain concepts clearly and concisely. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
