A dynamic and expanding ecological consultancy is looking for an Assistant Ecologist to support a wide range of exciting projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career ecologist to gain hands-on experience in all aspects including fieldwork, ecological surveys, and habitat assessments while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with ecological surveys, including protected species and habitat assessments
Support data collection, analysis, and report writing
Help deliver mitigation and conservation strategies
Work collaboratively with ecologists and other environmental specialists

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
Some experience in field surveys and species identification (professional or voluntary)
A good understanding of UK wildlife legislation and ecological best practices
A proactive attitude and a willingness to develop new skills
