Consultant Ecologist

Consultant Ecologist Role:

A growing ecological consultancy is looking for a Consultant Ecologist to lead surveys, conduct site assessments, and support project management. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious ecologist to take on more responsibility and develop within a supportive team.

Consultant Ecologist Requirements:
  • At least two years' experience in ecological consultancy
  • A degree in ecology or a related field
  • Strong field identification skills and protected species survey experience
  • Knowledge of UK/EU wildlife legislation and planning policies
  • Experience with Habitat Classification and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • At least one Natural England protected species licence
  • A valid driving licence and business-insured vehicle
