Your new companyYour new job working as a New Business Account Executive will be based in Horsham working for an Independent Broker with offices based around the UK with their head office based In the City. Your new Brokers employ over 300 staff around the UK and have grown rapidly in the last 20 years to become one of the top independent brokers in the UK dealing with over 16,000+ clients. Having completed numerous successful acquisitions, the company has secured further funding to continue its ambitious growth plans. Your new Brokers specialise in tailored insurance solutions for corporate and commercial clients across various industries. The team consists of experienced Account Executives and Handlers who work closely with a wide range of clients and insurer partners. Due to growth within their Commercial division, a permanent role for a New Business Account Executive within their Horsham office has arisen. This role has the opportunity of hybrid working 2 days in the office.Your new roleYour new role working as a New Business Account Executive means you will play a key role building and maintaining client relationships, identifying and securing new business opportunities and ensuring excellent customer service is achieved. You will provide tailored insurance solutions, manage renewals and ensure evolving needs of the client are always met.

Duties will include serving as the primary point of contact for clients, overseeing renewals, negotiating with insurers for competitive terms, and updating policies to reflect business changes. Further duties will also include driving revenue growth by generating new leads and closing new business opportunities, enhancing client satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of the business through focusing on developing corporate and commercial accounts with an income of £2,500 and above. In addition to new business generation, you will manage a smaller Commercial existing book. Working closely with Account Handlers and internal teams ensuring clients are dealt with from inception to completion.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will ideally have experience in working as a New Business Account Executive handling Commercial business and can travel to Horsham. Strong knowledge of insurance products, markets and underwriting processes are essential as well as an ability to generate new business and manage client portfolios effectively. Ideally, you will have your ACII qualification or willingness to work towards it as well as experience using Acturis. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to prioritise and manage tasks, a proactive and solution-oriented approach with a client-focused mindset.
