Account Executive - About the role
As an Account Executive you will be focused on new business development, with 75% of the time dedicated to networking, building relationships, and creating a profile in the region.
Your expertise in tailored insurance solutions, risk management, and compliance will enable you to deliver outstanding results, helping both your clients and the Group succeed.
Through your proactive and consultative approach, you will drive revenue growth, enhance client satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of the business. Your ability to develop strong relationships with clients, insurers, and stakeholders will ensure continued business expansion while maintaining the highest professional standards.
Account Executive - Key duties
Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing tailored insurance solutions and expert advice while ensuring ongoing portfolio assessments.
New Business Development - Identify and secure new opportunities through networking, referrals, and market knowledge, driving growth through lead generation and deal closure.
Renewal & Policy Management - Oversee renewals, negotiate with insurers for competitive terms, and update policies to reflect business changes.
Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure adherence to FCA regulations, Consumer Duty obligations, and internal policies while maintaining accurate client documentation.
Collaboration & Industry Engagement - Work closely with internal teams, insurers, and industry partners, staying informed on market trends and representing the Group at professional events.
Account Executive - Key requirements
Experience as an Account Executive within commercial insurance.
Strong knowledge of insurance products, markets, and underwriting.
Proficiency in insurance platforms and client management systems.
Proven ability to generate new business and manage client portfolios.
Understanding of FCA and Consumer Duty regulations.
Desirable skills and attributes would include:
ACII qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
Experience using Acturis or similar systems.
