This job opportunity is for a finance role in a growing business located in Crawley, requiring oversight of Accounts Payable and Credit Control, as well as managing a small finance team.
Candidates should be AAT qualified or have equivalent experience, with familiarity in Sage software, and possess strong finance skills including VAT and management accounts.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and be comfortable leading a team.
The position offers a salary in the range of £30,000 to £40,000, along with benefits such as free parking, 25 days of leave plus bank holidays, and private medical/life insurance.
This is a fully on-site role with working hours from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, and immediate interviews are available for interested applicants.

You will be reporting into a superb line manager, the Financial Controller, and you will be responsible for...

Oversight and leading the AP and Credit Control, including supervising a small finance team
VAT returns
Assisting with management accounts, including Accruals and Prepayments
Intercompany Reconciliations
Multi-currency transactions
Taking a lead on the running Payroll

The ideal candidate for this role, will...

Be AAT qualified or a "qualified-by-experience" Accountant
Have used Sage (preferably Sage 50) previously
Be comfortable leading small team
Have good, all round finance experience. including experience in Recs, AP, Payroll and Credit Control, as well as getting involved in VAT and management accounts too
Drive and own a car
