Finance Manager – £35-40K – Immediate Start

Are you an experienced and detail-driven finance professional looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking a Finance Manager to join our team and take ownership of financial operations across multiple entities.

What You'll Be Doing:

Reconciliation of company bank accounts across Xero
Managing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate purchase ledger postings
Ensuring seamless integration of sales data into accounting records
Taking on payroll responsibilities including pension & HMRC contributions
Handling VAT submissions & group VAT returns
Preparing and reconciling balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
Declaring IPT liabilities to HMRC
Supporting period-end close with external accountants
Managing staff expense claims & responding to wage/pension queries
Providing monthly cash flow forecasts

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in finance/accounting roles
Strong knowledge of Xero (or other cloud-based accounting software)
Confident Excel user
Hands-on approach to finance operations
Experience of PAYE, VAT, and IPT reporting
Familiarity with accounting standards
