Morgan McKinley is delighted to have partnered with a global organisation in Horsham, West Sussex in the appointment of an experienced Financial Accounting Manager.
The Financial Accounting Manager will be responsible for the closure of monthly TB for multiple entities within group function alongside overseeing a small finance team.
Salary: £60K - £70K per annum DOE
Location: Horsham, West Sussex - Hybrid working
Financial Accounting Manager duties:
- Overseeing a small finance team
- Recording all payments and receipts through company bank accounts
- VAT and Corporate tax reporting
- Month end close - Journals, accruals & prepayments, provisions and intercompany allocations
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Overseeing Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and employee expense processing
- Authorisation of invoices and bank payments
Skills and experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent
- Financial Services / Professional services is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working within a financial accounting environment, exposure to IFRS / Accounting standards
