Are you a hands-on Finance Manager looking to make a real impact?

Alexander Lloyd are working with a growing SME based in Crawley seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join the team.

This is a true, long-term, progressive role with the opportunity to progress to FC then FD in the medium to long term.

As Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of the financial operations, from budgeting and forecasting to cash flow management and financial reporting. You'll work closely with senior management to provide strategic financial insights and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance, preferably within an SME environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) is preferred but not essential, the client will consider candidates who are still studying.

  • Office based 5 days per week but operate a 4.5 day working week!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L
  • Analysis of revenue and costs
  • Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and regulations
  • Provide financial analysis to support decision-making
