We are looking for a creative leader to enhance our Sales Leadership Team. As Global Account Manager you will have responsibility for Account Management within the Security market. This will be a highly collaborative role that partners with multiple functions in the organization including Regional Sales Management, Global Business Development, Product Management and Executive Management across Sales, Engineering and Operations.
It is expected that this role will contribute significantly to the strategic growth plan. This individual will serve as a member of the Global Strategic Business Development Committee.
What You Will Do:
Sales Strategy + Development
- Strategic vision and oversight of high touch accounts that are high growth opportunities and have multiple business units around the world.
- Drives growth and penetration in assigned accounts.
- Provides more scale, depth and subject matter expertise to meet business needs.
- Responsible for revenue growth and relationship development within the Security market segment and specified target accounts, global and regional.
- Works closely with regional sales account management and global business development to drive account penetration, strategy development and execution.
- Owns global Security segment customer success, working closely with local sales and relevant engineering and operations resources.
- Sets account-level and product strategy in alignment with broader business strategy.
- Global account and market mapping.
- Manages the entire business lifecycle.
- Regularly visits client site to ensure client success.
- Qualifies opportunities.
- Identifies leads and follows ups as needed.
- Identifies and builds critical relationships needed to execute on strategy, captures new business and assure customer success and satisfaction.
Customer Success
- Manages select accounts. Triages and tiers new and existing accounts based on business potential and needs.
- Partners with Regional Sales Leadership and CMO to identify the proper level of local resources to manage day to day.
- Assigns low touch accounts to inside sales and medium touch accounts to the appropriate regional sales manager.
- Influences and sets sales strategy for complex accounts.
- Coordinates resources: manages people resources to ensure project success.
- Liaises directly with the organization and address client questions, concerns, needs, etc.
- Interfaces with factory regarding price/delivery information, quality for response time; communicating timelines
- Coordinates with internal teams (i.e. Engineering, Quality, Operations) and resources to ensure clients' needs are met.

What You Need:
- Bachelor's-level Technical Degree (Engineering, Physics)
- 10-15+ years OEM experience
- Deep understanding of client organization, strategy, and structure
- Ability to process data and effectively draw conclusions
- Deep segment knowledge/SME
