Transformer Winder/Assembler - Audio Industry - Partridge Green, West Sussex
We operate a friendly working environment, but have exceptionally high standards of assembly. Transformer assembly can include fiddly tasks, so requires a high level of skill. There is a large amount of accuracy required for this position, as we work with high value raw materials and some of our products operate at high voltages, so mistakes can be costly, not just in monetary terms.
Required experience/qualities:
- Fine Hand Soldering skills
- Keen eye for detail, with high standards of work.
- Ability to keep patience, concentration and continuity through repetitive tasks.
- Good team player, with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication and ability to follow precise instruction.
Desired but not essential:
- Assembly experience
- Coil Winding (or similar) experience
If you feel you can offer most or all of the above attributes, we would like to hear from you. Some training will be offered for this role.
We are looking for somebody interested in this position long-term.
Benefits
- 3 days Company Sick Pay, one probationary period is passed
- 1 extra holiday day per year worked, capped at 5 additional days (5 years service+)
- Annual bonus, based on profits, pro-rata.
