Consultant Ecologist Role:
A growing ecological consultancy is looking for a Consultant Ecologist to lead surveys, conduct site assessments, and support project management. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious ecologist to take on more responsibility and develop within a supportive team.
Consultant Ecologist Requirements:
- At least two years' experience in ecological consultancy
- A degree in ecology or a related field
- Strong field identification skills and protected species survey experience
- Knowledge of UK/EU wildlife legislation and planning policies
- Experience with Habitat Classification and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- At least one Natural England protected species licence
- A valid driving licence and business-insured vehicle
