Nursery Assistant

This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week), perfect for someone passionate about early years education and supporting young children's development.

• Position: Nursery Assistant (Day Nursery).
• Salary: 26,000 - 30,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
• Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Location: Waltham Forest, East London.
• Start Date: Immediate.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be supporting children aged 0-5 years, helping them learn, grow, and develop in a nurturing and engaging environment.

• Assist in planning and delivering creative and stimulating activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children can develop socially and emotionally.
• Support children's learning through play, helping them build confidence and independence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing updates on children's progress.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the nursery.

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
• A positive, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
