An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal Assistant to join one of our clients, a dedicated firm in Horsham.

Responsibilities:

  • Typing and preparing legal documents from digital dictation.
  • Maintaining accurate client files (electronic and paper), including file opening/closing.
  • Diary management and arranging appointments.
  • Supporting property transactions: searches, Land Registry applications, mortgage processing.
  • Completing forms such as SDLT, AP1s, and lender-related documents.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders as directed.
  • Handling new enquiries and issuing client care letters.
  • Drafting sales contracts and managing post-exchange and completion tasks.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Legal Secretary or Assistant, ideally with property knowledge.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, digital dictation, and case management systems.
  • Accurate audio typing and familiarity with Land Registry processes.
  • Clear communicator with a proactive, professional manner and team focus.
