Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in a team environment to arrange site requirements, including plant preparation, delivery, and personnel allocation, ensuring full compliance.
- Liaise with site managers and supervisors to confirm correct plant, staff, and materials are on-site.
- Work closely with the Workshop Manager to schedule plant maintenance and servicing, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure compliance of operators, plant, and vehicles with regulations and company standards.
- Attend regular meetings with the Operations Director and key team members.
- Maintain and update daily planners with site changes and transport schedules.
- Support the Logistics Assistant with transport deliveries and ensure sites are ready to commence on agreed start dates.
- Learn and utilize the company's health and safety program (Iprotectu) and other IT systems effectively.
The Candidate:
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Experience in logistics, ideally within the construction industry.
- A practical, hands-on approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and remain compliant with industry standards.
