Your new role
Position: Part-Time Maths Teacher

Working Hours: Wednesdays

Employment Type: 0.2 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)

Location: West Sussex

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the maths curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo a new DBS check.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
