About the accountancy firmPentagon Talent are excited to be partnering with one of the fastest growing accountancy firms in Sussex to recruit for an excellent Payroll Assistant for their office in Brighton. Our client provide a full range of services including but not limited too; accounting, advisory, payroll, taxation, auditing and financial planning for a variety of clients and sole-traders.

Duties and responsibilitiesAs a Payroll Assistant you will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;

  • Reporting to the Payroll Manager and assisting with any required payroll duties.
  • Processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner from start to finish.
  • Creating and maintaining payroll records.
  • Managing statutory payments and processing P45s.
  • Liaising with clients and other team members in the finance department.
  • Managing client pension schemes.

Qualifications and skills requiredIn order succeed as a Payroll Assistant you will have at least one years of experience working in a payroll function. You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. You will be happy to go into the office and eager to become a key part of the payroll team.
