Are you from a Workshop leadership background or similar looking for a varied Supervisory role where you will be responsible for overseeing a tight-knit Engineering team within a market-leading specialist equipment provider within the Aerospace industry who offer ongoing progression opportunities and your chance to make your mark on the department?
This market-leading company specialise in stocking and distributing legacy equipment working directly with the MOD and other blue-chip companies across the UK. They have continually grown since their establishment in 1991- whilst retaining a loyal client base and are now looking to expand their friendly team to keep up with increasing demand.
In this Monday-Friday role you will be an essential part of the tight-knit engineering team as you oversee 2 engineers and undertake reactive maintenance, reverse engineering assemblies, planning for Electromechanical projects and reporting and assisting the Workshop Manager and other members of the senior leadership team. This is a Monday-Friday role where you will work Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm with an early finish on Friday at 4:15pm.
This dynamic role would suit a Workshop Supervisor or similar looking for a varied role within a leading Engineering company who offer a good work-life balance due to the Monday-Friday nature of the role.
The Role:
- Oversee team of 2 engineers
- Support and report to Workshop Manager and Electronics Supervisor
- Undertake reactive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs
- Assembly and disassembly of components
- Carry out reverse enginering
- End-to-end project work and support
- Monday to Thursday- 8:30am - 5pm with early finish at 4:15pm on Fridays
The Person:
- Workshop / Manufacturing leadership background or similar
- Mechanical background
- Looking to work in the Aerospace industry
- Commutable to Horsham
