Your Role as a Learning Support Mentor:

Support Learning: Work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

Individual and Group Support: Provide extra help to individual students or small groups to boost their progress.

Positive Environment: Help create a classroom atmosphere that’s inclusive, supportive, and inspiring.

Plan and Prepare: Assist with the planning and preparation of fun and educational activities.

Track Progress: Monitor and track student progress and share valuable feedback with the teacher.

Emotional Support: Support students' social and emotional well-being, helping them feel safe and confident.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, empathy, and a passion for education

Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
