Staffpower Group are currently looking for multiple Production Operatives to work for our client based in Hetton who are a food and beverage manufacturer.

Shift & Salary:

This position is working a 3 shift pattern which rotates on a daily basis. You must be able to work all 3 shifts for this role.

  • Days 7am 3pm at£11.44 per hour
  • Backs 3pm 11pm Monday to Thursday & 1pm - 9pm on a Friday£12.94 per hour
  • Nights 11pm 7am (Commencing on a Sunday)£14.78 per hour
  • Overtime rate will be paid at time and a half and double time
  • Must be flexible to work overtime for the needs of the business

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, run and operate specified line and equipment within the process and packing area without supervision
  • Cleaning around your own work station
  • Fault find and report any breakdowns on the lines
  • Quality inspection of own work and others
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation
  • Adhere to all SOPs
  • Have a flexible approach to work and carry out alternative duties such as helping in other areas, as and when required.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, working within safe systems of work.
  • Ensure full compliance with Company Quality, Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Assist with the training of other employees as necessary.

Activities:

  • Scale, hygiene and metal detector verification checks
  • Label verification check against recipe
  • Temperature verification checks of heated products
  • Labelling of product packaging and loading of pallets
  • Completion of due diligence and packing (recipe) sheets
  • Transfer of finished product sample and recipe sheet to QC laboratory
  • Clean as you go / completion of cleaning schedules
