Sales Consultant - Waste and Water

Job Overview

We are delighted to represent our client in offering an opportunity to join their team as a Sales Consultant within the water and waste sales channel. As part of this dynamic and fast-growing utilities consultancy based in Durham, you will play a pivotal role in generating new business and cross-selling services to an existing customer base. Your expertise will help businesses optimise their water and waste management solutions, creating impactful and long-term value for clients.

Your Mission

As a Sales Consultant, you will drive results in a high-energy team environment. You will generate leads, prospect clients, and close deals through effective communication and influence. Calling existing customers and seeking out new opportunities, you will provide tailored water and waste solutions that exceed customer expectations. You will stay updated on industry trends and work collaboratively to meet and exceed sales targets. In this role, maintaining detailed and accurate customer records in the CRM system will be crucial.

Key Competencies

  • Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and objection-handling skills.
  • Organised, with a proactive and independent work ethic.
  • Confident and driven under pressure, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • IT literate, with a solid understanding of CRM tools.
  • A background in the water and waste sector (preferred but not essential).

Offer Details

  • Salary: £25,000£30,000 per annum, plus bonuses, with OTE exceeding £50,000.
  • Location: Office-based, Durham.
