Our client, a prominent London-based multi-disciplinary advisory, tax, and audit firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Supervisor to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to the firm's success while advancing their own career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Overview

As an Audit Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional audit services to a wide range of clients across multiple sectors. You will be responsible for planning and finalising audit engagements, supervising on-site audit teams, and maintaining close relationships with clients and stakeholders. Your expertise and leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and personalised services that meet the firm's standards of excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and finalise audit engagements for companies across various sectors

  • Supervise and review the work of junior audit team members on-site

  • Prepare accounts, tax computations, and Corporation Tax returns (CT600) for companies, groups, partnerships, and LLPs

  • Liaise closely with clients and stakeholders, often at Partner levels

  • Motivate, encourage, and develop the audit team

  • Promote the firm's interests with colleagues, clients, prospective clients, and third parties

  • Provide a personal, professional, speedy, and efficient service to clients

  • Assist with special projects, such as company valuations, HMRC investigations, and proposal pitches

  • Identify and progress practice development opportunities with clients in collaboration with Partners

  • Contribute to the improvement of systems and processes related to client or staff matters

Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification

  • Experience working in a Top 50 firm

  • Strong technical competence, including solid understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, Auditing Standards, and Corporate Tax

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of personal motivation and adaptability

  • Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively

  • Initiative and problem-solving skills

  • Confident and personable demeanour
