About the JobAs a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing accounts, producing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Duties will include:
- Preparing management accounts within four working days of month-end.
- Conducting balance sheet reviews and resolving queries for multiple entities.
- Overseeing the annual audit process and maintaining audit files.
- Managing intercompany reconciliations and associated communications.
- Ensuring timely statutory reporting, including VAT, ONS, and PSA submissions.
- Producing cash forecasts and projections.
- Supervising accounts payable, vendor reviews, and query resolutions.
- Preparing management information reports, such as billing and bonus reports.
- Handling ad hoc financial tasks as required.
About the Successful ApplicantYou will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) with strong management accounting experience and a proven track record in audits, statutory reporting, and accounts payable. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, familiarity with accounting software, and excellent communication abilities are essential. The role demands a proactive and flexible individual who can work to tight deadlines and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
