Japanese Cuisine Chef Up to £65,000 World Class Catering & Hospitality
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Japanese Cuisine Chef to take the lead in a high-end, internationally recognized hospitality and catering company. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a premium culinary environment that values innovation, excellence, and authentic flavors.
This role will be responsible for leading the Japanese section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes using authentic Japanese ingredients and techniques. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen, collaborating with a team of highly skilled chefs and culinary professionals.
The Role:As a Japanese Cuisine Chef, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking a range of traditional Japanese dishes (excluding sushi) while ensuring the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Leading and training a team of chefs, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and precision in all aspects of food preparation.
- Maintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards in line with UK regulations.
- Managing ingredient selection, storage, and stock control to maintain the freshest quality.
- Innovating and developing new Japanese-inspired dishes that align with the company's gourmet and fine-dining standards.
- Collaborating with other kitchen sections and senior chefs to ensure seamless service across all operations.
- Upholding the companys reputation for premium quality and authentic international cuisine.
- Proven experience as a Japanese Cuisine Chef in a high-end or reputable kitchen.
- Deep expertise in traditional Japanese cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles.
- Exceptional knife skills and precision in food preparation.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills to train and develop junior chefs.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, safety regulations, and inventory management.
- Creativity and a passion for continuously refining and elevating Japanese cuisine.
- Experience working in luxury catering, fine dining, or high-end hospitality is highly desirable.
- Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
- Work Location:West London
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)
