Job Opportunity: Full-Time Teaching Assistant
Location: Hounslow
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Tradewind is pleased to collaborate with a college in Hounslow in search of a committed and passionate Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time. This role is perfect for individuals dedicated to enhancing students' educational experiences, especially for those facing behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students, particularly those with behavioural needs.
- Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Work alongside teachers to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Contribute to the educational and emotional development of individual students.
Requirements:
- Prior experience supporting students with behavioural challenges.
- Proficient in classroom management.
- Team-oriented, positive, and patient.
- Committed to fostering student success.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience working with secondary school students.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Empathetic, patient, and supportive.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional references.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
This exciting Teaching Assistant position is available from January 2025 until approx April 2025 with a strong possibilty of this being extended.
