The Role:
- As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with teachers to provide in-class support.
- Lead small group interventions for students on the SEND register, including those in the SEN unit, which caters to students with ASD.
- Deliver tailored support to help students achieve their potential.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Specialize in areas such as SLCN, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and EAL, as needed.
- Maintain strong organizational and record-keeping skills to track student progress.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with young people in education or related sectors.
- Hold a high-level degree and a passion for supporting young learners.
- Demonstrate a calm, adaptable, and supportive demeanor.
- Be highly organized and committed to helping students succeed.
- Show willingness to learn and develop specialized knowledge in SEND support.
Requirements:
- To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Be available full-time and able to commit for at least two terms.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and, if applicable, Overseas Police Clearances.
- Provide professional reference checks.
- Have a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history (where possible).
- Hold the legal right to work in the UK.
Training: Full training will be provided during the initial consultation.
