This full-time role is ideal for someone committed to fostering academic progress and emotional well-being, particularly for students facing behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant:
- Provide targeted one-on-one and group support for students, focusing on those with behavioural difficulties.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Support students' holistic development, empowering them to achieve educational and personal goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with students with behavioural challenges.
- Strong skills in classroom and behaviour management.
- A team-oriented approach with excellent collaboration skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude toward supporting student needs.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience working with secondary school students.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (preferred).
- Enhanced DBS disclosure.
- Overseas police clearances (if applicable).
- Professional references confirming your suitability for this role.
Working Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
