This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Our client is offering the chance to work on a large critical site and obtain your High Voltage ticket! In this role, you will be working as part of a team on a continental shift pattern (Days and nights) undergoing PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E equipment, respond to emergencies on site, liaise with subcontractors, ensure statuary compliance is adhered to and get involved with site shutdowns.To be successful in this role, you must be qualified in either electrical or mechanical engineering (C&G / NVQ or equivalent), at least 3 years experience within commercial maintenance (Data centre experience is needed) and great work ethic.Duties:
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
- Quotations
- Health & Safety
- Logbooks
- Risk assessments
- Permits to work
Requirements:
- Fully qualified in either Electrical installations or a mechanically relevant engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- Career driven and motivated
- Prior experience in critical environments
- High voltage switching experience - desirable
- At least 3 years experience prior working in Data Centres.
Salary and Benefits:
- £55,000 - £57,000 per annum
