We are recruiting for a Finance Manager - Direct Tax to join a well-established tax team in a leading organisation based at Heathrow.

About the Role

As a Finance Manager - Direct Tax, you will support the corporation tax reporting team, assisting with year-end, half-year, and forecasting processes. You will also prepare corporation tax returns and review capital allowance analysis for large projects, ensuring correct tax treatment.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative tax function, covering areas such as VAT, employment taxes, and withholding taxes. You will also be involved in driving efficiencies and process improvements within the tax team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support corporation tax reporting, compliance, and forecasting.
  • Review capital allowance analysis for fixed asset spend.
  • Assist in implementing change projects and process efficiencies.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with HMRC.
  • Provide tax awareness training within the business.
  • Answer discrete tax technical queries and contribute to wider corporation tax issues.
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CTA / ATT with post-qualification experience in tax.
  • Strong corporation tax compliance and reporting experience.
  • Excellent time management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong IT skills, ideally with experience in Excel, Oracle, and OneSource.
  • Experience providing capital allowance analysis is desirable.
