Customs Brokerage Coordinator - Freight Forwarding
Location: Hounslow, London
Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Full Time Monday - Friday (09:00 - 17:30)
The Customs Brokerage Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the import and export customs process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and coordinating the flow of shipments. You will be the main point of contact for customs-related inquiries, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues and ensure that shipments clear customs in a timely manner.
From You:
- Previous experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or logistics (2+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and import/export documentation requirements.
- Ability to handle multiple shipments and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with customs software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive, client-focused approach to handling logistics and problem-solving.
- Customs Broker License (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of international shipping practices and Incoterms (preferred).
