EdEx are working with an excellent Secondary School in Hounslow, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, who are searching for a Humanities Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Teacher to join their supportive and close-knit team of Humanities teachers and teaching assistants.
This Humanities Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Teacher opportunity involves providing support to students 1:1 and in small groups, particularly those students with SEND/SEMH needs such as ASD, ADHD, SpLD and more. You will be tasked with assisting class teachers and students with humanities-based subjects, helping out across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

Humanities Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Teacher Person Specification
- A humanities graduate with strong academics across the board, including a 2:1 or 1st class degree
- Previous school-based experience working with children of all abilities and ages
- A passion for learning and making a positive difference from the 'get-go'
- An extensive understanding of SEND/SEMH needs
- The desire to pursue a Teaching career
