BJ32 - Operations Agent (Exports)
Location: Hounslow/Nr Heathrow
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Per Annum
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (10:30am - 19:30pm)
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Operations Agents (Export) on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client provides the luxury goods industry, high-net worth individuals, and international banks with a global team of experts, including logistics, security, customs house, and special operations professionals. Our client provides a smooth, expedient, and professional service tailored to precise specifications and needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setting up in-house system up ready for the start of each day.
- Completing export bookings throughout the day.
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Travel to and from customs when required
- Accurately creating and completing customs entries for Carnets/ Licenses/ KP Certificates
- Post flight and trace investigations to improve export service. Obtain handling reports and refunds where appropriate.
- Control sheet and file management to ensure the information is complete and accurate.
- Completion of documentation on behalf of clients.
- Complete export MIB’s when required.
- Cutting MAWBs at end of day.
- Carrying out other adhoc duties as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge/experience of exports customs entries
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in export operations, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is desirable.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems. Knowledge of CDS and Customer knowledge is essential.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work on own initiative.
