Our client is looking for a Cargo Reservations Agent to provide best in class customer experience to our forwarding and airline customers, in order to maximise revenue opportunities & grow market share for our Airlines.
Ideal candidate will have Airfreight knowledge
Handling correspondence received into the reservations e-mail inbox. Making bookings in our and our airline operating systems. Assisting the Reservations Manager & Supervisory/Lead Agent staff with new ideas and suggestions to achieve the Airlines targets by meeting all our deadlines, by operating efficiently and being responsible for completing the booking lists for their airline portfolio accurately and on time.
The role includes
Booking ListsProducing the booking list for the airlines customer with priorities that take into consideration yield, budget and flown as booked targets on time.Post FlightsResponsible for providing accurate post flights to all customers, both in the UK and abroad and chasing up offloads as well as reporting back within agreed timescalesRatesFeeding back to Sales with any upselling opportunitiesCustomer/Market intelligenceProvide feedback when market is weak or strong so that pricing changes can me madePB MonitoringProvide monthly PB allocations ReservationsMake bookings in both the airlines reservation systems and our own operating system. Respond to all email queriesSpot RatesUpsell in line with company procedures
Previous experience in Cargo Reservations required
The hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday although OT may also be needed to cover bank holidays
