Azure DevOps Engineer
Location:Hybrid - 2-3 days per week on-site in Heathrow, West London
Contract Duration:12 months
Day Rate:£475.00 (Inside IR35)

Position Overview:

We are seeking ahighly skilled DevOps Engineerwith a strong background in designing and implementingCI/CD pipelines,infrastructure automation, andcloud operations, specifically withAzure DevOpsandGitHub Actions. This role is ideal for an engineer experienced inInfrastructure as Code (IaC),scripting languages, and maintainingcloud infrastructure. Familiarity withAzure services,networking,security, and development on Azure platforms will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manageCI/CD pipelinesusingAzure DevOpsandGitHub Actions.
Automate infrastructure deployment and management usingInfrastructure as Code (IaC)tools such asTerraformandYAML.
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts usingPowerShellandPython.
Implement, deploy, and maintainSpark jobs.
Manage deployment and maintenance ofPower BIdeliveries.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance usingsystem monitoring toolsand best practices for infrastructure health.
Ensurehigh availabilityandscalabilityof cloud infrastructure and applications.
Collaborate withdevelopment, operations, and security teamsto ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and applications.
Useversion controlandsource code management toolsto manage infrastructure changes.
Implement and maintaincloud securityandnetworking practicesto safeguard infrastructure and applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong hands-on experience withAzure DevOpsandGitHub ActionsforCI/CD pipeline automation.
Proficiency inInfrastructure as Code (IaC)tools such asTerraform,YAML, and other declarative infrastructure automation frameworks.
Solid experience withscripting languageslikePowerShellandPythonfor automation and infrastructure management.
Familiarity withsystem monitoring toolsand best practices for infrastructure health monitoring and maintenance.
Good understanding ofAzure security,networking, andcloud operations.
Knowledge ofstreaming data platformsand technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in managingAzure development resourcessuch as Databases, Virtual Machines, Container Images, Kubernetes, and cloud-native applications.
Exposure toAzure Synapse Analytics,Big Data systems, anddata engineeringon Azure platforms.
