Our client, an industry leading organisation which provides award winning, time critical freight forwarding & logistics solutions, are recruiting for an AOG Operations Coordinator - Night Shift to be based at offices in the London Heathrow area.
Working Hours: 4 on / 4 off, shift pattern: 7pm - 7am

Main Purpose of the AOG Operations Co-ordinator / Air Export Freight Forwarder:
Reporting to the AOG Operations Manager, to manage the movement of products, equipment and materials to and from the UK via air in accordance with organisational policy & procedure, HRMC regulations & laws in a timely and efficient manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Import & Export Processes
- Ensure quotation requests from customers are responded to in a timely manner, providing required follow up and inputting into the company system if the quotation comes to fruition.
- Investigate and implement the most cost-effective dispatch of each shipment in accordance with the customers' instructions.
Customer Service
- Answering and returning customer emails and calls in a timely manner and to agreed standards.
- Locate and track shipments and respond to customer enquiries.
Documentation/Administration
- Maintain and manage records of shipments in and out of the Heathrow ETSF facility in compliance with AEO, UK Customs Law, IE NCTS, ETSF Records, C88, Dangerous goods, International shipping and company organizational policy & procedure.
- Ensure each file is closed down and put away in a timely manner with all supporting paperwork contained.
To Be Considered:
- Proven experience working in export air freight forwarding in a customer-facing, fast-paced environment
- AOG / Aerospace logistics would be preferred
- CDS knowledge essential, with a solid background in UK Customs law and procedures.
- Cargowise experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft suite, including Word, PP, Excel. Project management software an advantage.
- Dangerous Goods Compliant an advantage.
